The ballet season is off and running and I am losing my life to it, slowly but surely. However, I spend all my free time working on Modern Rubbish. It's nice to be so invested in something else besides ballet. I have been communicating with local bay area stores and hope to be in two by the end of this week. Keep your fingers crossed.
So, I'm in the zone. My two passions are vying for my time but directing my focus. I throw myself into one and seek out the other as a welcome distraction. It's making my life more balanced, and maybe at times more hectic, but I relish it. Running to meet store owners between rehearsals with my hair still in a french twist is a sight to see.
Anyhow, I thought this image summed it up beautifully. Waking up early to sew pointe shoes, and grabbing some spare moments to work on the cards. If there is one thing dance has instilled in me it's a good work ethic, let's hope it pays off.
